From Germany with love

Kenya’s finest artistes consisting of Nazizi Hirji, Kevin Wyre and Mr. Lenny treated Kenyans living in Stuttgart, Germany to a rare show dubbed ‘Usiku wa Mkenya’ at Club Palanca during their twin album promotion tour in Europe last week.

Speaking to Buzz after her arrival Thursday, Nazizi praised Kenyans in the diaspora for their appreciation of local music which, she said, forms the basis of their roots as patriotic Kenyans living abroad.

‘I just jetted back and am happy that Kenyans out there love local music. Wyre was showcasing his new album ‘Ten years wiser’ while I was promoting my new solo album ‘African youth’. We got the warmest reception from Kenyans living in Germany—over 700 of them packed Club Palanca just to catch a glimpse of us’

The three artistes were accompanied by Dj Lastborn.

Nazizi’s new album—which comprises of 14 hits among them Jeshi and Change—got the wildest applause from her Kenyan fans while Mr. Lenny thrilled the crowd with ‘Cash money’ and ‘Helena’

Steve Jean’s  mansion

BLU3 former producer Steve Jean is building a home in the plush Kampala suburb BUZZ has exclusively learnt.

Steve Jean who is one of the wealthiest entertainment businessmen in the pearl is constructing a 10 bed-roomed mansion in Bunga, just a few metres away from the Lake Victoria beach.

BUZZ landed on him site seeing and we loved the fact that the Kampala bachelor was investing wisely. And the house is approaching completion. Currently he stays at his other mansion along Uganda road.

Rachel for the stars

Ugandan singer Rachel Kiwanuka is eyeing the international scene badly. And is likely that Rachel K might  break into the international limelight if her latest single with internationally signed recording artistes makes it to the billboard charts.

The ugandan singer has featured R&B singer Keri Hilson and Grammy award winning Senegalese stae Akon in her latest single ‘’Oh Africa’’.  The video for the song has been shot the video with the American stars cast.
