Kibaki orders action on fuel supply

President Kibaki has directed the Energy and Finance ministries to ensure that fuel supply returns to normal countrywide.
He tasked Energy minister Kiraitu Murungi and his Finance counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta "to work with other stakeholders" to realise this.
He also instructed relevant government agencies to ensure that there will be no future supply interruptions caused by circumstances under government control.
President Kibaki also asked the relevant ministries to take steps to cushion Kenyans from high fuel costs.
He met the officials at his Harambee House office, Nairobi.
