9 treated and discharged after early morning accident

Nine Compuera students injured in this morning’s accident have been treated and discharged at Nairobi Hospital, another and a staff member under observation.

At least 17 students were injured Thursday morning in two separate accidents along Ngong and Valley roads, Nairobi.

Ten Compuera Academy students were admitted at Nairobi Hospital after their van rolled along Valley road after a tyre burst in the early morning accident, 9 have been treated and discharged.

Nairobi Traffic Police boss Lumumba Adera also confirmed that another minibus carrying Richbrain Academy pupils was involved in another accident at Kirwa River along Ngong Road.

The second school bus left 7 Richbrain Academy pupils and staff admitted at KNH after their bus veered off Ngong Road in Karen, Nairobi.

“Two of them are in a serious condition while the other five are stable,” said Mr Lumumba.
