The problem actually lies with the gvt failure to enact legislation outlawing dispensing restricted meds or antibiotics without a doctor's script. Any pharmacist who is not registered or any pharmacy assistant/technician has to work under a registered and licensed pharmacist. Offenders should face a jail term. Whoever dispenses meds without a prescription also goes to jail.

And what really disgusts me is the fact that the government would sometimes allocate millions of shillings to conduct a study about these issues. Even more disgusting, hire a foreign team to do so. What else do you need to study when you can actually see people drop dead before your eyes? Do you need to bring researchers from western nations, some of whom have never laid their eyes on an AIDS-infected person, to tell you that your nation is rotting away?
