The drought put tens of millions of Kenyans at the risk of starvation and left several animals died due to the drying up of pasture.
The rains have come both as welcome relief and a burden to motorists and perennial flood hit areas.

This stretch of the highway has been under construction for a looong time! Someone say, why it advanced nations can accomplish similar work within a short time and it takes us ages. Is it that these companies start the work before they have all necessarily materials in place, or it's just that there is no hurry in Africa?

Sometimes am never sure what can satisfy human beings. Every side of the coin has pros and cons! As michaOlga has stated, when I ponder between driving fast in the drought which has caused havoc in the last three years and being stuck in the jam for a week because there is too much rain, forgive me but I choose the latter!!!!!!!!

A case of one man's meat is another man's poison. Depending on where you are or where you live when the rain falls, you will either rejoice or curse the heavens. I personally am happy even when I'm walking on an unshaded path and the rain starts to pour until I'm drenched. We have been waiting for this rain for much too long. Welcome and please stay.

We desperately need rains no matter what!. We almosy collapsed as a Nation. Whichever way we look at it, rains will definitely bring life to all living things which overshadows challenges like impassable roads and floods. The door of heavens have now opened and let the land get healed and life be restored. Sometimes we must accept to be messed up so that we can see the good side of life. Pleas Mr. Rains, stay longer, we need you.
