Three killed as raiders steal camels

Elsewhere, police gunned down a suspected gangster and recovered an AK-47 rifle with eight rounds of ammunition.

Area police boss Ben Nyakwaka said the man was in a group of four robbers who raided Baringo Teachers Sacco in Kabel area, Marigat District.

Shot a teller

“They ordered everybody to lie down and shot a teller,” the officer said.

Police in Baringo informed their counterparts in Laikipia when they established that they had fled there.

The robber was shot there and his accomplices arrested.
