March 23, 2009: SGS appeals against the award of the tender to Geo Chem International.
April 22, 2009: PPARB annuls the award of tender to Geo Chem International.
Sept 3, 2009: Industrialisation minister gazettes legal notice No 142, providing for inspection of oil imports.
Feb 25, 2010: KRA writes to oil marketers, informing them that it will start collecting oil imports inspection fees.
Feb 26, 2010: Oil marketers write protest letters to KRA over its letter.
