Former Maseno VC dies in city hospital

Former Maseno University Vice Chancellor Prof Fredrick Onyango died at Nairobi Hospital on Friday.

Halima Onyango, the widow, has confirmed the death.

Prof Onyango is known for transforming Maseno University's status through an expansionist strategy that saw the institution open campuses across Kenya's western region.
