Fr Kizito held over new abuse claims

Catholic priest Renato Sesana Kizito has surrendered to police following new claims of sexual abuse by an employee.

He is being held at the Kilimani Police Station, Nairobi where he is recording a statement.

It is not the first time that Father Kizito is facing such charges.

In 2009, the Italian priest was accused of sexually molesting two young men under his care but he was later discharged after the prosecution failed to sustain the charge.
