Malonza Chege is the first Kenyan contestant to be evicted from the Big Brother Africa Stargame reality show.

With only 28days remaining to the final day of the show, Kenya still has a chance of bagging the $300,000 (about Sh25million) cash prize, since two contestants, rapper Prezzo and Malonza's brother Alex, are still in the house.

Malonza's exit has come as a shock to the housemates, since other than the head of house Keagan from South Africa, they didn't know he was on the nomination list.

Last Monday during the nomination show, the housemates who were nominated for possible eviction on Sunday were Keagan, Kenya's Prezzo, Nigeria's Goldie, Uganda's Kyle, as well as Lady May and Junia, both from Namibia. But as head of house, Keagan had an opportunity to save one nominee. Since he was nominated, he replaced himself with Malonza, leading to his eviction.

Keagan revealed this to the housemates, incuding Malonza, just a few minutes before the eviction show. Asked by the show's host IK how he felt about the eviction, especially after being nominated by one of his best friends Keagan, he said it was just a game.

His house girlfriend Junia was also evicted during the show. Asked if she would continue the relationship outside the house, Junia said she didn't have a yes or no answer.

The remaining housemates, Goldie (Nigeria), Prezzo (Kenya), Alex (Kenya), Lady May (Namibia), Kyle (Uganda), Janeatte (Uganda), Keita (Ghana) Talia (Zambia), Wati (Malawi) and Keagan (South Africa), will nominate each other on Monday for possible eviction this Sunday.
