Kenyans will celebrate Idd-Ul-Fitr on August 31.

In a gazette notice, Head of the Public Service Francis Muthaura said the government had declared a public holiday observe the end of the holy month of Ramadhan.

Idd-Ul-Fitr holiday marks the end of a month-long fasting among Muslims.
