Nine people died and many were injured in three separate road accidents Saturday.

Six people lost their lives following a road accident at Nairege- Enkare on the Narok-Mai Mahiu highway.

Four people-two women, a man and a boy- died on the spot while two others succumbed to their injuries in hospital.

Earlier, a tourist died and eight others were seriously injured after a bus rammed their tour van at Duka Moja on the same road. A heavy traffic snarl up ensued and police had a difficult time clearing traffic on the busy road.
