Woman charged with trafficking Sh84m drug haul

Evelyn Neema Mlangwa was on Friday charged with trafficking narcotic drugs estimated to have a street value of Sh 84 million.

Ms Mlangwa was arrested with 10 kilogrammes of amphetamine on Thursday along Nairobi's Accra road at the Modern Coast bus stage.

The haul was destined for Mombasa.

The suspect was released on a Sh 2 million cash bail by Principal Magistrate Peter Nduiga. The case will be heard on November 28.
