Woman admits sending Mutula death threat message

A Nairobi house help has admitted in court to sending a death threat message to Education minister Mutula Kilonzo.

Irine Nduku Kasilu, 25, pleaded guilty to threatening to kill the minister through an SMS on June 26.

The house help, who lives in Kayole, Nairobi, however refused to divulge her motive.

The Judge gave police two weeks to complete investigations before sentencing.

The facts of the case were that on June 26, the complainant, Mr Kilonzo, was in his office when he received a message from the number- 0754962956- at around 3pm.

He reported the matter to Parliament Police Station.

After investigations, the accused was arrested.
