Sudan and South Sudan have reached a deal that will allow oil exports from South Sudan through Sudan to resume.

The agreement on border security was reached after protracted negotiations between Sudan President Omar al-Bashir and his South Sudanese counterpart Salva Kiir.

"The agreement will be signed tomorrow," El-Obeid Morawah, spokesman for Sudan's Foreign Ministry was quoted as saying by the Reuters news agency.
