Raila heads to Zimbabwe for MDC's congress

Prime Minister Raila Odinga is expected to travel to Zimbabwe Friday to open the Third National Congress of the Movement for Democratic Change.

The MDC congress will take place at the Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo.

Before traveling to Bulawayo, the PM will pay a courtesy call on President Robert Mugabe at State House, Harare.

The PM is scheduled to return to the country on the same day after the MDC congress.

The MDC is in a coalition with President Mugabe's Zanu PF and is led by Morgan Tsvangirai, who is also the country's Prime Minister.
