Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has asked Kenyans to be wary of politicians who are crafting alliances in order to secure the presidency saying the country risks losing a lot by electing individuals with tainted image.

Addressing political rallies in Trans Nzoia and West Pokot counties, Ms Karua said the country wants leaders with ideas that can offer a lasting solution to their problems.

“You should shun corrupt leaders because they are the reason this country has had a challenge in development,” she said in Kapenguria.

She once again reiterated that she is not keen on entering any coalition saying her mandate is to create an alliance with Kenyans in order to find a solution to their problems.

“Those people who are claiming that I am a lone ranger for not joining any alliance should know that my agenda is to form an alliance with the people of Kenya and not a few individuals with self interests,” said the Gichugu MP.

She said she cannot form an alliance based on self interests yet it is the same reason why she resigned her position as the Justice Minister.

Karua said corruption is the major reason that has led to the inequality in development records across the country and that is why such leaders are luring unsuspecting voters with bribes so that they can be re-elected.

“Don’t entrust the leadership of this country with corrupt leaders just the same way you can’t trust a lion to guard you sheep,” she cautioned.

Karua said, if elected, she will improve security matters by ensuring that police are well equipped to combat crime.

“I will ensure that the Police are fully equipped so that they can adequately fight crime to guarantee the security of Kenyans,” she said.

She also promised that her government will freely provide medical and education services.

“Medical services and education at primary and secondary levels will be free so as to spur economic growth,’ she said.
