Ford Kenya fury over Wekesa remarks

Cabinet minister Noah Wekesa is facing the wrath of his party, Ford-K, over his recent comments about its status in PNU.

A meeting of the Ford-K national executive council members on Tuesday resolved to convene a special session to discuss the Forestry and Wildlife minister's conduct.

Dr Wekesa is among those at the forefront in efforts to strengthen PNU.

The minister, who has evidently moved away from Ford-K over time, is on record fro challenging his former party colleagues to be clear on their political stand, stating that they are either in PNU or Ford-K.
