“We did not expel anybody. All we did was set the record straight since no visitor in any country can be allowed to do what they did not specify in entry documents,” Mr Kajwang’ said.

The expulsion was received with mixed feelings as others hailed the move while others termed it as intolerance. Mr Kajwang explained that the Obama victory had brought in a new epoch.

At the same time, the MPs congratulated the Republican candidate Mr John McCain for his humble acceptance of defeat, saying many candidates would have tried to find excuses to delay democracy and justice.

“It is a clear that democracy was made in America with the victory of Obama and the early acceptance of defeat by Mr McCain,” the MPs said.

The legislators were hopeful that the good relations with the US President-elect will attract a collective positive encounter with all nationalities who live and work in Kenya.

What is wrong with us. How about a prayer for peace and the IDPs in Kenya?. We just look bad. During American elections, the media was flashing scenes from around the world. Our Kogelo looked very bad. Dirty, abandoned, needy and extremely poor. Everybody else has cleaned up their places but us. When are we waking up. I wish they are going to uhuru park to talk about how we can eleviate poverty in the villages starting with Kogelo.

From Waki report, to Kreigler to now Obama (and his "strong" kenyan linkage) to the PMs comments about his "cousins" solution to the Kenyan economy (the more PM speaks - the more I realize he hasn't a clue!)....I am glad that finally Kenyan ministers are showing the greedy looser's that they are. 2% of kenyans are in refugee camps, the economy has stalled, we are talking tribal 2012 politics....I am sure Obama is proud to be associated with us!

Why didn't they pray for country during clashes and post election violence and even during Mandera and Mt Elgon clashes? Please use the time to get the country a better place for the upcoming youths as there are no jobs, no healthcare for them. Work please. Also PRAY for the clashes and the IDPs there, stop pledging loyalty and show loyalty to your constituents. Ali Yonis USA
