ODM ministers walk out on Raila over tribunal

In Summary
- They reject Raila’s move to back tribunal to try poll chaos suspects.
- The PM is said to have been saddened by the happenings and remained quiet as the ministers openly castigated him.
- Only Lands Minister James Orengo sides with Raila.
This comes at a time when sharp internal differences have threatened to wreck the party ahead of the 2012 elections.
After the meeting, there was a power blackout at Treasury building The backup generator failed and some people at the meeting on the 14th floor, including Mr Odinga, walked to the ground floor.

ODM [Office of Destructive Management] is finally having to face the music. They campaigned on a tribal platform while PNU ran on achievements. Now they have not only failed to perform they are self destructing. I say we should have both the tribunal and ICC to ensure maximum justice.

Raila, are you on the list? I saw you calling people to go and protest in your quest for presidency. Every time you did that, your boys in RV went to "work" and hundreds died. Can a prime minister be arrested and tried for instigating?

I tend to agree with makavelli1...and I add that they (ODM) fuelled violence and now they're afraid to face the repercursions...remember that's where the blood started spilling...and I ask... who are the kalenjins? Are they Kosgey? Or did they plan the violence as a community? tell us

Oh, I love the hypocrisy. If you took all the comments here on face value, you would think tribalism is a RV problem. But is it? history of voting patterns since the introduction of democracy indicate to exactly the opposite. We are all tribal! atleast the majority anyway. So stop deflecting blame and lets all change for the sake of our country.
