Reforms are on track, says Raila

Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Monday reiterated that the Grand Coalition government was committed to instituting reforms.
He said the changes would target the police force and the judiciary.
“The reforms in the police force will make the officers servants, with the role of guarding wananchi and their property instead of being their bosses to conduct raids and harass people,” he said.
Mr Odinga added that the registration of voters would kick off soon.
Correct wrongs
Lands Minister James Orengo said constitutional reforms were necessary to correct the wrongs that had been committed over time.
He added that the government was presently being run in an open manner and that ministers had the freedom to speak out on the ills committed by their colleagues.
The two were speaking at Got Kwer Calvary in Migori District, the headquarters of the Legio Maria Church, during fundraising in aid of the construction of a mausoleum for the sect’s founder, Melkio Ondeto.
Public Service minister Dalmas Otieno asked the Ministry of Heritage to consider gazetting the mausoleum.

James Orengo perfects in playing politics and tagging Raila's court. When he talks of "constitutional reforms were necessary to correct the wrongs that had been committed over time" isn't he one of those dragging his feet on reforms? Lands reforms is part of the pending Agenda 4 and Orengo is telling others of carrying out reforms. Orengo perfects blame poltics and he can't see big log in his own eye
