Good riddance, bloggers say

The nullification of minister Chirau Mwakwere’s election has been greeted with excitement on blogs and social forums on the Internet.
All of them seem to concur that the former ambassador has fared badly in the Transport ministry and deserved to go home.
Popular Kenyans website Mashada was also abuzz with many saying it was time Mwakwere left the Cabinet.
Readers on the Daily Nation website did not have nice things to say about the former Matuga MP.
Many feel that he didn’t do anything to maintain the order that former minister John Michuki brought to the transport industry during his tenure.
While saying that the departure was long overdue, Mamboz reminds people how Mwakwere once said that Kenyans did not expect him to shoot himself in the foot by implementing the Michuki rules when he owned a matatu.
“Go home and rest Mr. Mwakwere. Thank God that this judge did justice to the people of Kenya,” writes Jabbarabu.
Blaclii, another reader, says the news on Mwakwere is the best Kenyans have had in 2010. He adds that the judges are finally hearing Kenyans cry for justice.
