The Independent Boundaries and Electoral Commission (IEBC) dispute resolution committee has warned that it will disqualify candidates found to have acquired party nomination certificates unlawfully.

The tribunal chairman Thomas Letangule said Wednesday the body had received 110 complaints form aggrieved aspirants.

However, the hearings were pushed to Thursday to allow petitioners serve respective political parties.

Mr Letangule said the tribunal will publish the complaints on Thursday since it is a matter of public interest.

He said those dissatisfied with the tribunal's decision were free to lodge their cases with the High Court.

Mr Letangule said his team has seven days to complete the arbitration process.

Among those who have sought the tribunal's intervention include former Maragua MP Elias Mbau, Former Githunguri MP Njoroge Baiya, Mary Wambui, an aspirant for Othaya parliamentary seat and a ward representative aspirant in Kiambu County James Mbaruti.
