Kethi Kilonzo has filed an application challenging the electoral commission's tribunal decision to block her from contesting the Makueni Senate seat.
Justice Isaac Lenaola certified the matter urgent and set hearing for Thursday.
Ms Kilonzo's lawyers Judy Soweto and Harun Ndubi filed the application against the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Wednesday.
