Murugu ‘jovial’ after operation

Youth and Sports permanent secretary Kinuthia Murugu is making steady recovery after being shot by gangsters two weeks ago.
A friend who visited him at Nairobi Hospitalon Thursday said Mr Murugu was in a jovial mood after a successful operation.
Gangsters in a Toyota Prado accosted Mr Murugu in Hurlingham at about 3am on June 20 and shot him in the arm and chest.
The Prado had been carjacked on Thika Road.
