Priest told to apologise
Posted Tuesday, October 27 2009 at 19:36
Women leaders have demanded an apology from the Malindi priest who linked a rise in gay marriage to failure on the part of women.
Ms Betty Sharon of Coast Women in Development said that Fr Ambrose Muli should apologise within three days or else women would mobilise themselves in thousands to storm his church.
Ms Sharon said it was wrong for the priest to issue such a statement during his sermon last Sunday.
She said women would meet to consider writing a protest letter to the Vatican to demand his sacking.
Sauti ya Kina Mama Tana Delta branch chairperson Anita Komora also condemned the Father Muli’s utterances.
And Coast ODM-K coordinator Amina Abdallah asked the church to investigate the priest’s conduct.

I think the government should form a commission of inquire in to what the priest said about marriage. The question should be “Is it true its women’s fault that men are turning into gays?” When the report is ready within 3 years it should be put to referendum Kny style.

single women will always feel edjed when pointed to. Fr Ambrose is right, women should feel ashamed that some men have lost admiration for them and turned to other men, where has attraction disapeared to, you mouth, character, ambitions all stink if not in line with God's purpose of creation.

As much as it concerns ones views women should not overeact over small isues such as this case of a church sermon where the priest could have been telling the women congregation to pull up there socks in marital matters hence this should not be thrown out of proportion
