Pan Paper to roar back into life as cash pledged

Pan Paper Mills will be reopened in two weeks, a Cabinet minister has announced.

Foreign Affairs minister Moses Wetang’ula said the President had directed the Treasury to release Sh500 million for the firm to resume operations.

So far Sh190 million had been released while the remainder would be given out next week, he said.

A further Sh1.1 billion would be released in the next financial year, he added.
