Anna Chapman says she had a nice time

NEW YORK, Wednesday
Russian spy Anna Chapman has left her fans with this literary thought: “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.”
The ravishing Russian mole, apparently referring to her time as an undercover in the United States — and subsequent bust — posted that quote from A Tale of Two Cities on her newly reactivated Facebook account after being sent back to her native country as part of a sensational spy swap last week.
She even gives credit to its Western author, Charles Dickens.
Chapman, the beautiful, mysterious femme fatale, helped trigger the spectacular roundup of 10 deep-cover spies in the United States.
In a worried June 26 call to her father, former KGB agent Vasily Kushchenko, Chapman indicated she was concerned that her cover might be blown, The Washington Post reported yesterday. The call was being tapped by federal authorities, and was one of the reasons the Obama administration hastened the arrests of her and nine other spies.
She also was planning a trip back to Moscow in mid-July, a government official told The Associated Press.
The FBI already had learned another spy, Donald Heathfield, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, was planning a trip to Moscow with his son and might not return. A federal official said that potential move was a “big catalyst” in deciding to take down the network, the AP said. (Agencies)
