Kenya's Finance Minister Uhuru Kenyatta last week read the country's national budget for 2010/2011, but what does it have in store for the youth?

The country has drawn Vision 2030 as its road map to economic bliss. This being the case, then Kenyans must interrogate Uhuru’s budget in terms of its investment on the youth and relevance for the Vision 2030.

Today there are more than a million high tech jobs that are not filled in the USA alone. Yet Kenya is having the highest unemployment level in decades. Are we consciously addressing this?

Another key source of employment would be agriculture. We had half-hearted initiative in the budget but what would it take to be bold and have a marshal plan on agriculture?
