Heritage Insurance has announced a variety of incentives to its agents as it seeks to grow its presence in the sector.

Speaking at an award ceremony to recognise top agents, the company’s managing director Godfrey Kioi emphasised the need to strengthen ties with agents.

‘’I would like to assure our intermediaries that we are committed to significantly improving our working relationship. We are also very keen on improving our general performance in the industry. We know that we cannot achieve much on this without banking on your uttermost support and hard work.

“This is why we are extending a revamped incentive structure so that you are all sufficiently motivated to do what you do best — and that is, move our products and services,” he said.

He added that agent incentives are crucial since Heritage is preparing to enter the general insurance sector. The event was also used to launch an enhanced incentive scheme for agents this year.

In the recent past, the company has embarked on an expansion programme, including the opening of branches in key economic zones like Kisumu and Mombasa.

Heritage has 14 branches across the country and has set up shop in Tanzania and plans further expansion in the greater East African region.
