Motorists to pay more for petrol

Motorists will pay Sh0.55 more for a litre of petrol in the latest review by Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).

Petrol will retail at Sh114.16 from Tuesday. However the cost of diesel and kerosene dropped by Sh1.05 and Sh0.75 respectively.

Diesel will now retail at Sh103.82 down from Sh104.87 while consumers will pay Sh83.16 for kerosene that was selling at Sh83.91.

The new prices will be in place for one month.
