Players and investors in the emerging oil and gas sector are set to meet in Nairobi to explore opportunities in East Africa and curve out opportunities for investors.

The meeting will provides insights into the upstream opportunities, open acreage, bid rounds, new ventures, oil and gas investments, key upstream players.

They will the cover the region stretching from South Africa to Eritrea especially along the Rift Valley basin which has recently witnessed unprecedented discoveries of oil and gas.

The meeting will be in Intercontinental Hotel from 28th to 30th of April this year.

Kenya and the region are attracting interest from major companies in the industry from around the world even as countries seek to boost economic growth.

The Eastern Africa region hopes that the discoveries will help alleviate the balance of payments problems that have left their currencies vulnerable to volatility in commodity prices.
