Kenyan comic series wins global award

Kenyan multimedia comic series Shujaaz FM has won the 2014 international Digital Emmy award for its outstanding work in creating interactive digital content.

This is the second Emmy award following a similar one in 2012.

The prize was a digital Emmy under the children and young people category.

Kenya was among the three countries that scooped three top prices followed by Australia and Britain at the international digital Emmy awards on Monday, in Cannes, France.
