ADVERTORIAL: Tecno Phantom 6, 6 Plus dubbed beauty and the beast

Tecno mobile is at it again with the release of yet another, powerful flagship smart phone device, the Tecno Phantom 6 and Tecno Phantom 6 Plus which they have dubbed the beauty and the beast.

They were officially released on September 25th 2016 in Dubai, and witnessed by thousands of business men and media personalities from Africa and the Middle East.

At 6.15mm, the Tecno Phantom 6 is one of the slimmest smartphones, and it totally deserves its nickname of Beauty. The phone has a full metal body, and comes in two main colours: Champagne Gold and Anthracite Grey.

With an aluminium frame and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen, the Phantom 6 is extremely resistant to physical damage.

The covers of the two phones are similar except that Phantom 6 comes in a beautiful 5.0 inch display, while the Tecno Phantom 6 plus comes in slightly larger display of about 5.5 inches.

The screen has a full HD resolution the Amoled which also helps to conserve battery power however the battery remains non-detachable from the phone. To those who love removing the battery from their phones they might not like the design.

Both phones run on a 2.1GHz Deca-Core processor called MediaTek Helio x20 Chipset. The device loads amazingly fast when booting the device, allowing you to navigate the phone and press buttons almost instantly.

The Phantom 6 plus comes with 4GB RAM and has a 64GB internal storage and you can also get an SD Card slot of up to 128GB, while phantom 6 comes with a modest 3GB RAM and has a storage capacity of 32GB with also a slot for SD card.

The two devices run smoothly on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. And they are both powered by HiOs which is a Tecno Custom-made user interface and Operating system.

With an LTE Cat 6 antenna, the Phantom 6 offers the highest data speeds possible, up to a maximum 300 mbps when on a 4G network.

The Phantom 6 has 3 cameras: an 8-megapixel front camera, and 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear cameras. The two rear cameras combine to provide an increased visual field, faster focus and overall better images.

Both Phantoms have a dual rotating double camera, the dual rotating double cameras give you both automatic and manual controls. Through the Digital Single-Lens Reflex (DSLR), the automatic camera adjusts perfectly to give you crystal clear images.

The cameras come with plenty of editing tools, though it takes a while to get the hang of them. Its HDR mode is amazing, and photos seem straight out of a DSLR camera.

The 6 plus series has got an in-built fingerprint reader that can fully match your fingerprints to lock and unlock access into the device. You can also lock/unlock the phone by simply looking into the front sensor.

This is all thanks to the in-built iris sensor that uses artificial intelligence to compare with that of the phone user.
