DHL Express has appointed Mr Andrew Mutuma as the new country manager for its operations in Kenya.

As the country manager, Mr Mutuma is in charge of driving DHL’s fast-growing presence in Kenya.

At the same time, he will provide strategic direction and oversee customer management, sales, marketing and operations in the country.

Kenya is currently one of DHL Express’ most vibrant markets in Africa.

Announcing the appointment, DHL’s Managing Director for Sub-Saharan Africa Charles Brewer said Mr Mutuma’s wide experience in all aspects of the express business makes him an ideal choice for the position.

14 YEARS EXPERIENCE

Mr Mutuma has over 14 years of experience in various industries, including international logistics, telecommunications and banking.

He has also worked in the NGO world.

Before joining DHL, he was the National Sales and Marketing Manager at TNT Worldwide Express.

According to Mr Brewer, this appointment highlights the calibre of talent available on the African continent.
