Late funds threaten coffee yield

According to him, only about 50, 000 farmers stand to benefit.

The fund was established three years ago under the Coffee Act 2001. The loan, which the farmers started receiving last year is supposed to rehabilitate coffee trees.

On Tuesday, Mr Ooko said they have already sent money to their intermediaries in the districts and growers would get the money before the end of this week.
