Govt gives motorbikes to chiefs in Isiolo County

Chiefs and their assistants in Isiolo County have received motorbikes from the national government in an effort to ease mobility in their work.

County Commissioner George Natembeya presided over the handing-over ceremony on Tuesday.

“Due to the vastness and the rough terrain of the county, chiefs and their assistants have been experiencing challenges of mobility,” said Mr Natembeya.

He asked the administrators to firmly deal with crimes like cattle rustling, robberies, selling of illicit brews and human trafficking.
