Homa Bay police arrest 39 youths linked to destruction of Jubilee billboard

Police have arrested 39 youths who are linked to Wednesday's incident in which a banner belonging to the Jubilee Party were set ablaze in Homa Bay Town.

The heavily armed officers rounded up the youths at the Homa Bay bus park.

County Police Commander John Omusanfa confirmed the arrests and said the operation would continue.

"We will not relent until all those who were involved in the incident are arrested and brought to book,” he said.

The Wednesday evening incident saw Police officers rescue two employees of Magnate Ventures who were erecting the banners as the youths bayed for their blood.
