What you need to know:

  • Ganze MP Peter Shehe claimed that the county was a good perpetrator of lies aimed at getting back public support after the image of the devolved unit dived to the worst due to non-performance.

  • Speaking in an interview, a furious Mr Shehe said all the health facilities in Ganze were either built or rehabilitated through the CDF and completed.

Ganze MP Peter Shehe on Tuesday tore into the county government’s announcement that it had renovated and built health facilities in his constituency.

He said that the county government was a perpetrator of lies aimed at getting back public support after the image of the devolved unit became bad due to non-performance.

Speaking in an interview, a furious Mr Shehe said all the health facilities in Ganze were either built or rehabilitated through the CDF and completed.

“The county government should stop portraying national leaders in this county as non-performers. All the projects the county government claims to have taken over are projects that the CDF kitty was used to either rehabilitate or built. So it is a lie to go and tell people that CDF had failed in initiating health projects,” said the MP.

The lawmaker said that it was the work of the county government to send medicine and other requirements to health facilities since they fall under their management and there is no chest thumping in doing that.
