Fire razes primary school dormitory

Property was destroyed after a fire burnt down a dormitory at Vitale Boarding Primary School in Makueni County on Monday.

No pupil was injured as they were in class when the incident happened, according to the headmaster, Mr David Muthike.

"The dormitory, that housed 343 boys, caught fire around 6 am," said Mr Muthike.

Furniture, beddings and personal effects of unknown value were destroyed.
