Taxi operators in Mandera Town want a traffic police officer immediately transferred.
Taxi Association Chairman Husseim Mohamed said the officer had has been harassing members.
He alleged the officer demanded a Sh300 “protection fee” from each member.
Mr Mohamed said the association had written to the Inspector-General of police over the matter as local police bosses have given them a deaf ear.
