Three boys drown in Homa Bay

Three pupils drowned while swimming in a roadside crater full of water in Homa Bay County.
Masters Donclifford Oluoch, 7, Davis Ochieng, 9 and Joseph Ouma, 11 perished at Kakaeta village in Ndhiwa sub-county.
The pupils were from and Lambwe Primary School, Marisa Academy and Ochieng Odiere Primary respectively.
Lambwe Assistant County Commissioner Joseph Thuita said the three are from Ochieng Odiere village.
Mr Thuita said the incident occurred after the minors attempted to swim in the crater that was not rehabilitated after excavation of materials for construction of a bridge in the area.
