Police on Tuesday exhumed the body of a businessman who was killed and buried in a shallow grave on a farm in Umande, Laikipia East.
Benson Gatitu, 46, is said to have been carjacked on Thursday.
Two suspects were arrested on Monday in Malaba, Bungoma County, as they were trying to flee to Uganda.
One of the suspects is the owner of the farm.
Police have also recovered Mr Gatitu's vehicle.
