A man allegedly hacked his wife to death at Jula village in Kwale County on Friday after she refused to hand over her phone to him.
Kinango OCPD James Mutungi confirmed the incident and said that the suspect Kalume Dzango 29 was arrested by police.
He said that Agnes Dzime 26 was allegedly murdered by her husband when they differed on Friday 5am at their home.
“It was a domestic violence which led to killing and that is something very worrying because the husband wanted his wife phone that refused thereby using a crude weapon to kill her,” Mr Mutungi said.
