The charity event is a twist of her last birthday when she blew away Sh4m in treating friends and business associates to a private party at the members-only exclusive Capital Club in Westlands.

“After last year’s birthday party, I made a decision to spend more time and resources with the people who need help most. I have come to realize that with giving I serve humanity better,” the business lady nicknamed Mama Unga for supplying maize flour to needy families said.

Omanga, who is one of the leading contenders for the Women representative position, encouraged the residents to strive to surmount their encumbrances, to provide better lives for their families.

“When studying in this school, I used to think that life was bitter and unfair for some of us. But I never lost hope. I always told myself that I was the only one who could control my destiny,” she said.
