Governor Kidero fires adviser for wrongdoing

Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has fired one of his advisers for misconduct.

A letter signed by acting County Secretary Robert Ayisi indicated that Martin Otieno Ogindo, an economic planning, finance and strategy adviser, was sacked because of "violation of the terms of your contract and conflict of interest".

Mr Ogindo is a former MP for Rangwe.
