Police arrest woman in Embakasi wanted for sister's murder in Nyandarua

A woman suspected to have participated in the killing of her sister in Bosnia, Passenga in Nyandarua County a month ago has been arrested.

Nyandarua Central officer commanding police division (OCPD) Wilson Kosgei said police have been trailing the suspect since the killing was reported.

Sources said the suspect was tracked from her Embu hideout before detectives arrested her in Embakasi, Nairobi.

“We have been liaising with our colleagues in Nairobi and I have sent officers to bring her back to the Ol Kalou police station,” said Mr Kosgei.

Her 40-year-old sister was hacked to death following a land row with her siblings and her body dumped in a thicket in Bahati, Nakuru County but was later spotted by villagers running errands in the vast forest.
