A cannabis e-cigarette named KanaVape is set to go on sale in Britain in the near future.

KanaVape has been created by Antonin Cohen and Sebastien Beguerie and is allegedly not illegal but does contain five per cent cannabidiol, meaning users will get similar feelings to smoking marijuana without the psychoactive effects, the Daily Star newspaper reports.

The piece of equipment is similar in a appearance to a normal e-cigarette but comes with a cartridge of hemp, the oil of which contains none of the psychoactive THC chemical from cannabis.

Antonin and Sebastien said of their product: "We made KanaVape to give millions of people a legal and tasteful way of using cannabinoids.

"We craft our production with love, care and scientific research."
