What you need to know:

  • Predictably, Usinikazie's reception on social media is as warm as its first live performance at the concert, which is to be expected, considering the extra advantage it now has, courtesy of a brand new video. In the video, Shaniqua, the popular “socialite”, portrays a damsel in distress as she tries to evade a grown-up homeless man harassing her as she walks along the streets.

When the "Welle Welle" hitmaker premiered his brand new release during the Sport Pesa Festival concert, the fans’ reaction was surprising. Their wild cheers and exuberant reaction to "Usinikazie" was a rare occurrence in the industry; an about-turn from the

usual nonchalant attitude shown towards artistes for their new releases. It could be that Timmy’s own energetic performance of the song, fuelled by a fiery vocal delivery, did the trick. Or — on a cheeky note —someone had ferried in truckloads of “paid”

supporters to hype his performance.

Predictably, Usinikazie's reception on social media is as warm as its first live performance at the concert, which is to be expected, considering the extra advantage it now has, courtesy of a brand new video. In the video, Shaniqua, the popular “socialite”,

portrays a damsel in distress as she tries to evade a grown-up homeless man harassing her as she walks along the streets.

The man  (played by Timmy himself) is apparently trying to flirt with her with his rapping as he follows her. Timmy’s antics closely resemble scenes from Michael Jackson’s "The Way You Make Me Feel" video, in which the king of pop is shown “harassing” a

woman on the streets with his dancing and singing. And one might  expect from a Pacho Entertainment artiste, there’s also plenty of twerking by a variety of provocatively dressed female dancers, all featured in interspersed scenes that “team mafisi” are bound

to appreciate.

Generally, while "Usinikazie" can’t hold a candle to Welle Welle, it’s hyped enough to capture Timmy’s "Welle Welle" fan base in the twinkling of an eye.
