Nigerian star 2Face Idibia, who landed in Nairobi last Sunday for a full week of Coke Studio recording, was forced to go back to Nigeria on Thursday morning for a performance.
This interrupted his rehearsal sessions with Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee who is also in the country.
2Face was expected to perform in Lagos on Thursday night, and return to Nairobi by Friday evening.
“You know, when you are a star, a lot of these things happen, so we are always prepared for that,” said an official from Coke Studio, who requested anonymity since they’re not allowed to leak behind the scenes information to the media.
